X-Sandra - Funky Punky Power
X-Sandra is a Slovenian band from Ilirska Bistrica; they were active for four years, from 1989 to 1991, and later from 2001 to 2003. They performed extensively on stages throughout the former Yugoslavia, as well as in Austria (Vienna).
They play energetic alt-rock, punk, and hard rock with funk elements.
They got their start at the MKNŽ underground club, where they rehearsed, like most local bands at the time.
In 1991, they self-published a cassette.
They gathered again to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the MKNŽ club and played a few songs.
